Happy Wednesday! I can’t believe we are already in the second week of 2021. I definitely had a slow start to the new year and have taken the time to really rest after the holidays and recharge for the spring semester before it starts next week.
However, one of my main goals for 2021 is to focus on my health, whether that be my mental health or my physical health. 2020 was very draining on a lot of us and I think that it is important to make to prioritize yourself. I
To help me with that goal and to hopefully encourage others to focus on themselves and their wellbeing, I wanted to create a new series on my blog called Wellness Wednesday. Wellness Wednesday will be a weekly blog post (Every Wednesday at 12 pm) where I am going to share posts regarding physical and mental health. These posts will range from tips, recommendations, my own personal struggles and how I try to combat them, and anything else I see fit in this category of wellness.
I hope by starting this series I can encourage you guys to prioritize your own well being, as well as keep myself accountable with my goals for 2021. I think that by starting this series it will also allow me to connect with you guys more and open up about my life. It’s easy to look at someone on Instagram and just assume that their life is perfect because people only share the highlights of their life. However, I’m hoping this will help encourage me to share everything, the good and the bad. Everyone faces different struggles in life but if this series can help even a few people, it will be worth it.
